MVP Rescue Ladder
The versatile MVP Rescue Ladder Fire Truck is available with up to 500 gallons on a single rear axle and up to 250 cubic feet of storage. The MVP’s pump is a traditional shaft driven midship, estimated up to 2250 gpm. While standing on the street, the low crosslays are easy to deploy and safer to reload. On top of all of this, its quiet, rattle-free gearbox takes the stress away from the pump operator and lets him concentrate on the job at hand.

Features and Options

Use our optional 500 pound capacity Rope Rescue Pulley system to safely and easily perform high angle rescue operations.

Extension/retraction is smooth and rapid with our dual Siamese extension cylinders. Why settle for 2 extension cylinders when you can have 4?

Max out your compartment space with our HD-77 MVP Rescue Ladder. Over 250 cubic feet of usable storage space plus over 150’ of ground ladders in the rear torque box opening. The right side EZ-Stack hose bed can carry 1000’ x 5” and 400’ x 2-1/2”.

Our most popular body style, available on all Ferrara aerial ladders, feature driver side full height x 24” deep compartments, right side EZ-Stack hose bed with 1000’ x 5” LDH + 400’ x 2½” and right side full height compartment

Quickly put out a fire in an attic or upper void area with our optional 165 vertical travel monitor. This allows you to flow a master stream at the ladder’s rated capacity up to 30 degrees above horizontal.

Save set up time and stop guessing where the auxiliary ground pads should be placed. We offer an optional recessed magnet in the auxiliary pad, allowing you to connect to the stabilizer foot pad prior to deployment.

All sheaves are fully enclosed, so you don’t have to worry about getting PPE or other gear caught between the cable and pulley.

Standard equipment on all Ferrara aerials is a pair of load lifting eyes at the ladder tip. Rated at 500 pounds as a pair, they give you added rescue capability.

Standard on all Ferrara aerial ladders is an 11 degree angled, bolt-on egress section. The downward angle allows for easy transition to a window or roof. And because it’s bolt-on, is easily replaced if ever damaged.

Supply a standpipe without disconnecting the nozzle on the aerial monitor with our optional 2-1/2” discharge at the ladder tip.

The turntable control console has a clean design with easy to find and read instruments. The ladder controls are direct hydraulic, requiring no manual overrides
