Bulldog Fire

Type II

Osage Type II ambulances are ideal for emergency transportation rather than emergency response. Given their smaller weight, Osage Type II ambulances offer greater fuel efficiency and reduced operating costs compared to Type I ambulances. They also feature a raised roof instead of a dropped compartment on the chassis.

Type II Ambulance: Osage Travois

The Travois is the only Osage Type II ambulance available. However, it's offered in three different chassis types: the Ford Transit, Chevrolet Express and Mercedes Sprinter. It's equipped with all the necessities for medical transport including a walk-through sliding door in the patient compartment, recessed bulkhead for added cab room, and rear facing EVS high back attendant seat. It also features a squad bench, standard ALS shelving and locking medical tool container.
