For the third year in a row, BFA of LA proudly hosted our annual Open House event here in Prairieville, Louisiana. Each year, this special day brings together a multitude of fire service vendors, industry leaders, and guests for an opportunity to explore what BFA of LA is all about.
Our Open House highlights the best in Fire and Emergency Apparatus, the latest innovations in fire technology and equipment, and cutting-edge protective gear all the while showcasing the dedication and spirit that drive our industry forward.
While the Open House itself is a one-day event, we take pride in extending our Southern hospitality over four days of connection and appreciation.
The festivities began Thursday evening with a Welcome Reception for our vendors.
Friday marked the main event—our Open House at the facility—featuring a delicious lunch sponsored by Federal Signal and prepared by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Department. Their famous Alligator Sauce Piquante had everyone coming back for seconds! Our customers enjoyed taking part in our door prize drawing—generously sponsored by our incredible vendors. The prizes did not disappoint and were nothing short of amazing!
Friday night was our hospitality night generously sponsored by Fire-Dex and dinner was prepared by Chief Landry of Gonzales Fire Department.
To wrap up the weekend in true Louisiana fashion, we treated our vendors to an LSU Tigers tailgate on Saturday—complete with great food, even better company, and plenty of purple and gold spirit. As always, no one left hungry (or without a to-go plate)!
This event continues to be a highlight of our year, and we couldn’t make it happen without the continued support of our incredible vendors, many of whom travel from across the country to be part of it. Their loyalty and partnership mean the world to us.
We also extend heartfelt appreciation to our customers, Fire Departments, and Fire Chiefs—both local and visiting—for taking the time to join us. And a special thank-you to Tim Riley, Mayor of Ascension Parish, for stopping by to learn more about our facility and the work we do to support our fire service community.
